The need for internet safety instruction is more important than ever before. Our students and children are connected in so many ways and they need guidance on how to navigate the vast world of the world wide web.   • Understand internet is an online community with rules and guidelines

  • Understand the similarities and differences between a citizen in a physical community and a citizen in an online community

  • Understand what kindness means online

  • Understand when faced with an uncomfortable situation they need to seek appropriate solutions

  • Understerstand how to identify a cyberpredator and actions to take in order to remain safe
